Obituary for Charles Conrad Snead
Mr. Charles Conrad Snead, age 82, of Covington, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at LewisGale Medical Center, Salem.
Mr. Snead was born June 10, 1940 in Nelson County, the son of the late Edgar Willard Snead and Carrie Smith Snead. He served his country as a member of the United State Army. During his working career, Charles had been employed as a supervisor by a gas company in Arlington, VA.
Mr. Snead is survived by two sisters, Barbara S. Entsminger of Covington and Bonnie Mundy of Clifton Forge; a sister-in-law, Mary Snead; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Snead was preceded in death by three brothers, William Wallace Snead, Larry Gleason Snead, Michael Warren Snead and two sisters, Sandra Snead Burch and Lecie Phillips.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 28, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dean Bowser officiating.
