Obituary for Christopher Scott "Scotty" Armstrong
Christopher Scott "Scotty" Armstrong, age 50, of Covington, died Wednesday May 18, 2022, at his residence.
Mr. Armstrong was born August 2, 1971 in Virginia, the son of Dale Edward Armstrong and the late Ivy Jean Walton Hoke. He was employed as a doorman by The Omni Homestead Resort. In his spare time, Scotty enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking off on long rides on his motorcycle. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his father, Mr. Armstrong is survived by his three sons, Christopher Armstrong, Benjamin Hull and Zackary Markham; two daughters, Megan Armstrong and Amber Persinger; two grandchildren, Kyleigh Simmerman and Colton Armstrong; two aunts, Diane Wright and Frances Tucker; three sisters, Tammy Torres, Katrina Via and Elaine Armstrong; and significant other, Lisa Osborne.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 23, 2022, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Shorty Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Armstrong, Benjamin Hull, R.L. Phillips, Josh Phillips, Charles Stalnaker, David Jarrett, C.J. Cunningham and Curtis Bowles Jr.
The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial tributes be made to Loving Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
