Obituary for Betty Clark Morris
Mrs. Betty L. Morris, 83, of Covington, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. Morris was born July 24, 1937, in Clifton Forge, the daughter of the late Wilbur “Buck” Keyser and Mary Kelly Keyser. During her working career, Betty was employed with Bacova. She was a home maker, loved her family and always enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends.
Mrs. Morris is survived by one daughter, DeAnna M. Clark Slate of Roanoke; sons, David M. Clark of Roanoke and Donald M. Clark of White Sulphur Springs, WV., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her daughter, Debra M. Clark and one brother, Thomas Wayne Keyser.
A private memorial ceremony will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Covington Fire Department and Covington Rescue Squad, 435 W. Hawthorne St. Covington.
