Obituary for Gloria Anne O'Neil

Gloria Anne O’Neil, age 75, died January 15, 2020, at her home in San Antonio, Texas, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Covington, Virginia, on November 29, 1944, and is the middle daughter of Jack Haywood and Virginia Frances O’Neil, both of whom preceded her in death. Her older sister, Linda Deane Robinson, also preceded her in death, but she is survived by her younger sister, Lori Munford of Columbus, Ohio.
Gloria leaves behind four daughters—Laura Schultz of San Antonio; Loretta Snider and her husband David of Denton, Texas; Lisa Schultz of Annandale, Virginia; and Shani Harmon and her husband Erik of Chicago. Other survivors include grandchildren Jacob and Robert Snider of Denton; Emily Platt of San Antonio; Elisabeth Platt of Annandale; and Kieran Ahlen of San Antonio; one great-grandchild, Amanda Snider of Denton; and her beloved aunt, Mary O’Neil of Covington.
Porter Loring Funeral Home in San Antonio held a rosary service at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020.
A Holy Mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Covington, VA with Father Dan Kelley officiating, followed by interment at Alleghany Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
