Obituary for Courtney Rae Tucker
Courtney Rae Tucker, age 31, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.
Courtney was born January 22, 1988 in Roanoke, the daughter of April Renae Redman and Gerald Thomas Wiley. Courtney was a lover of nature, animals, children and a true free spirit that will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Courtney is survived by her husband, Brian Keith Wilson; a sister, Ashley Wiley; a nephew, Zeb Heator; a niece, Aria Hugus; stepmother, Mona Wiley; grandparents, Phillip C. (Becky) Redman and Juanita Hedden; aunts and uncles, Danette R. (Mike) Loan, Kenneth Redman, Kimberly R. Andrews, Brian (Betty) Rachael, Chris (Robi) Hedden and Barbara G. Redman; and other members of her extended family.
Courtney was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Wiley; stepbrother, Christopher Adkins; grandfather, Marshall Hedden; great grandparents, Horace and Irene Redman, Jesse and Essie Wiley and Raymond “Odie” and Roxie Miller; aunts, Gail Jenkins, Alice “Kitten” A. Tingler and Priscilla B. Redman.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 P.M., Monday, October 28, 2019, from the Chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Hollenback officiating.
The family will receive their friends following the service and at other times, at her mother’s residence, 826 Long Avenue, Apt E7, Covington.
