Obituary for Mary Jane Campbell
Ms. Mary Jane Campbell, age 59, of Covington, died Monday, July 15, 2019, at her residence.
Ms. Campbell was born July 20, 1959 in Alleghany County, the daughter of Elsie May Taylor Campbell and the late Leonard Hubert Campbell. A lifetime resident of this community, Mary was employed as a nurse for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and old country music. Mary was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Redskins, but she loved fishing more than anything. Mary was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Campbell is survived by her son Bruce Plogger; daughter, April Richardson; three brothers, Leonard Campbell Jr., John Campbell and Steven Campbell; three sisters, Ruby Campbell, Jenny Campbell Cox and Margaret Campbell Wright; twelve grandchildren, Jenna Smith, Erica Kincaid, Eric Kincaid, Justice Smith, William Bates, Nautika Jack, Joshua Richardson, James Osborne, Dylan Osborne, David Osborne, Nicole Price and Anakin Andrew.
In addition to her father, Ms. Campbell is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaylee Richardson; two brothers; Billy Campbell and Benny Campbell; two sisters, Doris Paxton and Joyce Tucker.
A memorial service will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M, Monday, July 22, 2019 at the home of Bruce Plogger,2023 Mallow Rd. Covington.
