Jeanette Meador Johnson

Mrs. Jeanette Meador Johnson, age 85, of Covington, died Monday, November 19, 2018, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Ernest Dale Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Covington, the daughter of the late Walter Meador and Pauline Gates Meador. During her working career, she was employed with the former CFW Telephone Company as a chief operator. Jeanette was a member of South Covington United Methodist Church and also attended Good News Foursquare Church as well as Bethesda Church. She also enjoyed her time at the farm in Canvas, WV as well as visiting her family in Hinton, WV.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Dianna Scruggs and husband, Patrick of Covington: a son, Walt Johnson and wife Melissa of Covington; three grandchildren, Darren Scruggs, Victoria Hodge and Judah Johnson; two great grandchildren, Augustus Snyder and Brittany Maynor; three great- great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, November 25, 2018 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating. Interment will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00P.M. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home
