Mr. Michael Wayne Fisher, age 44, of Covington, died Friday, July 29, 2016 at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.
Mr. Fisher was born March 12, 1972 in Alleghany County, the son of Michael Eugene Fisher and Christine Simmons Fisher. He was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor by the Springs Nursing Home.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fisher is survived by two sons, Dillon M. Fisher and Cody Wayne Fisher, both of Covington; a sister, Christy F. Swan and husband, Ben of Tappahannock; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00P.M. Sunday, August 7, 2016, at the Selma Fire Department.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Michael Fisher Benefit Fund, C/O Highlands Community Bank, 307 Thacker Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
