Mrs. Helen Louise Bennett Osborne, age 70, of Roanoke, formerly of Covington, died Thursday, April 23, 2015, at LewisGale Medical Center, Salem. She was the wife of Donald L. Osborne.
Mrs. Osborne was born April 16, 1945 in Smoot, WV, the daughter of the late Mazie Bennett McClung and her stepfather, Huse McClung. A resident of Roanoke for three years, she was retired from Wal-Mart. Helen was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband, Donald L. Osborne, Mrs. Osborne is survived by one son, Keith Tincher and wife, Lisa Tincher; three daughters, Cyrena Bennett, Kathy Thomas, and Angela Osborne-Maurer and husband, Casey Maurer; six grandchildren, Megan Tincher, Zachary Tincher, Autumn Snyder, Taylor Thomas, Braeden Thomas, and Hayden Osborne-Maurer; one sister, Jeanne Morris; three great grandchildren; and a special friend, Sharon Bradley.
In addition to her mother and stepfather, Mazie Bennett McClung and Huse McClung, Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her son, Richard Tincher; one brother, Curtis McClung and one sister, Linda Harper.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 26, 2015, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Mark DeHaven officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home.
