Phyllis Hatter Crawford, 87, of Covington, died Monday, September 24, 2018 at Rocky Mount Rehab Center.
She was born on December 14, 1931 in Alleghany County, VA, a daughter of Hubert S. Hatter and Gladys Garber Hatter. She was retired from Hercules.
Mrs. Crawford is survived by two nephews; Dennis A. Rider and Sam Wright; one niece; Susan W. Barnett, a special friend, Patty Gail Stone and a number of great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her four sisters; Lois Hill of Clifton Forge, Thelma Scott of Clifton Forge, Leah Rider of Covington and Elsie Wright of Clifton Forge.
A private graveside service will be conducted, Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Alleghany Memorial Park.
