Obituary for Candice Martin "Candy" Jackson

Candice Martin Jackson, 48, died at her residence in Covington, VA after an extended illness. She was the daughter of John E. Martin, III and the late Judith M. Martin, also of Covington.
Known to many as "Candy," she was a graduate of Covington High School and attended National Business College in Roanoke, VA. She was formerly employed by Acclaim Federal Credit Union in Greensboro, NC.
Candice is survived by her pride and joy, one daughter, Haven Coles of Covington, VA. Affectionately referred to as "The Three C's," her two sisters remain to cherish her memory; Cheri Martin and Casi (Christopher) Staton both of Covington, VA; in addition to their father. Her nieces, Caris and Corinne, and nephew Christopher Jr. also survive to love and miss their "BXI" as she rests in peace.
Additionally, Candy is survived by her maternal grandmother and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, infant brother, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
A private, family service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Loving Funeral Home. The family requests that flowers, condolence cards and letters be sent to Loving Funeral Home, 350 North Maple Avenue, Covington, VA.
