Emma Lou Erwin Lockhart, age 81, of Clifton Forge, formerly of Covington, died Sunday, March 26, 2017, at LewisGale Hospital -Alleghany, Low Moor.
Ms. Lockhart was born May 28, 1935 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Lee William Erwin and Evelyn May Erwin. She was employed as a secretary by the former Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Clifton Forge and Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company in Roanoke. Emma was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years.
Ms. Lockhart is survived by her sister, Jean Erwin Bryant of White Sulphur Springs, WV and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces , great nephews and great great nieces.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Lockhart was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Erwin and a sister, Martha Flint.
A memorial service will be conducted
