Ricky Dale Rucker, age 54, of Covington, died at his residence.
Mr. Rucker was born May 23, 1961, in Alleghany County, VA, a son of the late Joe Alfred Rucker and Georgia Whitman Gier Rucker. He was a former employee of Hammond and Mitchell.
Ricky was a person who extended his heart, love and charity to all of God's children and also enjoyed landscaping and spending time outdoors.
Our beloved brother is survived by his sister Vickie Rucker Kerns and husband Delbert, his brothers, Kenneth Rucker and wife Evelyn, David Rucker all of Covington, and adopted brother Jerry Rucker, Jr. and wife, Kelly, of Pennsylvania, several nieces and nephews and several good friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rucker was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Rucker Sr. and Aloys (Buck) Gier.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 at Alleghany Memorial Park (upper level) at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.
